Lucia Bondar is a media manager and publisher, and the founder of Creative Publishing. In addition to her primary education in linguistics, Lucia has studied at various universities, including Harvard Business School; she studied Interior Design at the Istituto Marangoni (Milan, Italy) and completed a course in Architecture at the Florence Institute of Design International (Florence, Italy).
In 2020, Lucia Bondar released the first book in Creative Publishing’s upcoming series of gift-format publications. Since then, 18 books have been published, all of which Lucia authored or co-authored. All of them are dedicated to Ukraine’s contemporary creative culture and cover such fields as design, interior design, art, photography, crafts, gastronomy, and more. To explore specific topics, Lucia Bondar invites the best Ukrainian experts in their respective fields to collaborate.
Lucia is the author of THE BEAUTY of Ukraine, a book published by the international publishing house teNeues. The book has received worldwide acclaim and was included in The Telegraph’s prestigious list of the Best Books of 2023. She is also the co-creator of the first international publication on Ukraine’s contemporary creative culture, UKRAINE RISING, released by gestalten, one of Europe’s leading publishing houses.
Lucia Bondar presents books on Ukraine’s contemporary creative culture at major international book fairs—the Frankfurt Book Fair, The London Book Fair etc.—as part of the official National Stand. She also participates in various international cultural festivals, events, conferences, and more.
