Zinaida Kosytska has a PhD in art history and is a research associate in the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts at the Maksym Rylskyi Institute for Art Studies, Folklore and Ethnology in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
She authored the monograph, The History of Ukrainian Vytynanka, 2019, and three chapters of the five-volume collection, History of Decorative Art of Ukraine; plus has published in domestic and foreign publications more than 60 scientific and popular scientific author’s articles on the history and current creation of vytynanka art.
