Julia Aurora Ogorodnyk

Julia Aurora Ogorodnyk is a Ukrainian food researcher, gastronomic enthusiast, and traveler. For nearly 20 years, she has been involved in projects at the intersection of the restaurant business, food history, and contemporary world cuisine. From her travels around the world, she brings back gastronomic books, spices, and exceptional products.

Her “Modern Spizharka” (which is both a real pantry in her apartment and the name of her blog) features flavors, names, and stories from the night market in Bangkok and the market in Kherson, from the cheese factory in Kvasy in the Carpathians and the bakery in Mexico City, from the izakaya in Kyoto and the osteria in Florence. Exploring how time, personalities, and trends influence the tastes of people around the world is what interests and fascinates her.

Julia Aurora collaborates with Fozzy Group on projects related to festivals and products, and is also an author and cooperates with publishers.
